Join cook & herbal enthusiast Deanna Amodeo of AMODICI at Calgo Gardens in Freehold, NJ as she takes you on a tour of the herbal garden that she co-tends. During this event Deanna will be sharing insight and information on common medicinal plants that are easy to grow in your own backyard, and simple applications for them. After the interactive Plant Tour, Deanna will share about the healing benefits of herbal tea, what it is composed of and how best to prepare it at home. During the third portion of this event, you will be able to participate hands on, as you craft up your own dried tea blend to take home with you and enjoy! All resources will be included, just please bring yourself, a journal and an open mind ready to meet others who are interested in learning about plants!.
