NOFA NJ Workshop: Organic Blueberries (Mike's Blueberries)

Mike's Blueberries Farm Tour

Join NOFA NJ and Mike Price for a tour of Mike's Blueberries, a Certified Organic blueberry farm in Pemberton, NJ.  

Michael started his farm at the age of 25 on his grandparents land in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. Unlike most farmer families, Michael has had no history of farming in his family yet, with the support of his father, they have since learned to grow and tend to ten acres of organic blueberries. Michael also learned to farm during a brief internship at Chickadee creek farm from his farm mentor, Jess Niederer.

Michael’s farm is located in the very town the highbush blueberry was cultivated from the wild, by Elizabeth White, in Pemberton NJ. Michael plans to expand his farm beyond blueberries and hopefully begin a robust legacy of farming that he may some day pass on to his young son, River.
